Our decramastic tile restoration begins with a comprehensive roof inspection to evaluate its condition. If moss treatment is overdue, it is probably required. Asbestos-containing roofs receive a low-pressure soft wash under 300psi, with waterblasting delayed 2-6 months post-treatment, depending on moss growth. Conversely, non-asbestos roofs can be waterblasted after 48 hours. We usually collect a sample for testing, yielding results within 3-5 days. If asbestos is present, the 2-6 month waiting period applies; otherwise, waterblasting proceeds within 48 hours. Following washing, damaged tiles are repaired or replaced, and rust is treated with converter and zinc primer. The client’s chosen base coat is applied, followed by an acrylic chip texture coating.

The Workmanship Warranty complies with the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantees Act, ensuring goods and services meet minimum acceptable quality standards. We provide repair, refund, or replacement options for faulty or substandard workmanship. Our workmanship exceeds the minimum 7-year expectation, with ongoing responsibility for the roof and our actions beyond the stated term. Issues typically arise within days or weeks of completion, not months or years later, unless due to other roofing element failures. The Product Warranty covers 15 years, though we anticipate the coating’s durability to surpass this term, with some expected fading. Regular maintenance is required to maintain warranty validity. Both warranties are transferable, provided maintenance requirements are fulfilled.

Edge protection is standard on most roofs, especially two-story ones. Single-story roofs sometimes employ harnesses. Our policy requires two staff on site for every job to ensure Work Safe compliance.
